Child Abuse Treatment

Child Abuse Treatment ProgramĀ  (CHAT)

The CHAT program provides free counseling for youth under
the age of 18 who have endured abuse, trauma,neglect,
parental substance abuse, exposure to domestic
violence, sexual assault,or maltreatment in the
community and who do not have access to services
due to lack of services or ineligibility
for other community services.
Services
Services include assessment, psychotherapy, referrals,
advocacy, and helping children understand and
prepare to participate in the criminal justice system.
CNVC has two play therapy rooms staffed by licensed
therapists who use trauma focused cognitive behavioral
therapy, play therapy, sand tray, and art.
The CHAT program helps children heal from trauma
and move from surviving to thriving
